In late summer of 2020, Ashleigh and Chase joined their lives in marriage in front of an intimate group of family and friends. The couple originally planned to have a destination wedding in Asheville, but like so many others in 2020, their plans were adjusted. The two made their finals plans to wed at their parent’s country club: The River Club in Suwanee, Georgia. Their families had known each other for years- Chase had even worked for Ashleigh’s father- so you could tangibly feel the closeness amongst the families throughout the entire day.
The River Club housed so many of the couple’s memories throughout their childhood so adding another memory-their wedding- just made sense.
The two decided to forego a first look opting instead to see one another for the first time as Ashleigh walked down the aisle escorted by her father. They did, however, exchange heartfelt letters and the groom became overwhelmed with emotion as he read words Ashleigh had written to him: “I have no doubt that the world will be a better place because we found each other”.
A family friend officiated their ceremony beginning his sentiments saying that “after hearing the toasts shared in their honor [at the rehearsal dinner], it is very evident to all that know them, that to marry and spend the rest of their lives together is exactly what they were born to do.”
The evening progressed with toasts shared from Ashleigh’s sister and both of their fathers. A 5 piece band led the group into the night on the dance floor.
To end the night, after the pair’s formal sparkler exit, the groom picked up the bride, threw her over his shoulder, and surrounded by jubilant cheers, carried her to the exit car awaiting them.
“It was a pleasure having Elyse as our Wedding videographer! I can tell she truly strives to go the extra mile with clients and she really cares about each person’s happiness throughout the process. I enjoyed getting to know her during preparation and during our wedding Elyse and her husband made the day feel less stressful and more fun. She was very respectful of my photographer, which I appreciated. The final product was better than I imagined! She captured all the sweet and memorable moments perfectly and I really don’t know what I would change. We had drone video footage that took it to the next level, as well as a time lapse addition. The video was unique and my family and I were in awe of the technical effects and the ‘storyline’. Her husband and Elyse even worked hard to edit-out a facial blemish I had developed due to COVID bride stress (which meant a lot to me!) The video was worth the wait! You won’t regret working with these caring and talented videographers!“
